The last weekend of June has brought a significant increase in vehicle traffic towards the Lezha coast, causing heavy traffic on the Lezha-Milot axis and on the road segment connecting the city with Shëngjin.
Since the early hours of Saturday morning, long lines of vehicles, most of which have Kosovo license plates, have formed. Vacationers are heading to the beaches of Shëngjin and Velipoja to spend the weekend, driven by the high temperatures that have swept the country.
To avoid congestion and ensure normal traffic flow, the Traffic Police have deployed patrols at the busiest intersections, managing vehicle movement and directing drivers to areas with the densest traffic.
