A citizen asked SPAK to investigate political leaders, stating that the arrest of Edi Rama would pave the way for change in the country.
The civic protest against the government and the political class continued today with strong calls to justice institutions, with one of the strongest messages being addressed to SPAK.
Speaking before the protesters, a citizen called on the Special Prosecution Office to intervene against key figures in Albanian politics, stating that only their arrest can pave the way for a new Albania.
" I want to make a call to SPAK to make this revolution happen peacefully. Today SPAK has the opportunity to become a hero for our children. So that the children of the new Albania that we want to build have a hero SPAK. Investigate Edi Rama, investigate the ministers and put them in prison. An arrest of Rama would pave the way for a new Albania. Of course, the arrest of Berisha too ," he declared.
The speech was met with applause from the protesters, who continued to chant "Rama in prison" and "Berisha in prison", slogans that have become a permanent part of the protest.
For 28 days, citizens have been gathering every evening in front of the Prime Minister's Office, demanding the removal of the government and a change in the political system. Organizers have stated that the protest is no longer just against the government, but against the entire political caste, while demanding the investigation and bringing to justice the officials who, according to them, are responsible for the situation in the country.
SPAK duhet te tregoj se ekziston. Per kete duhet kurajo dhe inisiative. Eshte qelbur gjithcka. Aferat jane tronditese, te frikshme. Rama ka 13 vjet ne qeveri. Nuk mundet qe bashkepuntoret e tij me te ngushte te jene ne burg apo te pandehur, dhe kryehajduti vazhdon me aferen e rradhes. I paprekur i pashqetesuar.
Duhet patjeter nje veprim konkret. Kryeministri i ketij vendi nuk mund te jete i paprekshem.
