"You live, Edi..."/ Rama "invents" messages to give himself
Edi Rama

As the civic protest has entered its 32nd day and calls for his resignation are heard every evening in front of the Prime Minister's Office, Edi Rama has signaled that he has no intention of leaving.

Instead of responding to the protesters' demands, the prime minister has chosen to publish on social media a letter of thanks from an Albanian immigrant living in Italy, emphasizing that it is precisely messages like these that give him the strength to move forward.

Although it is not known how real this letter is, Rama seems to be trying to give himself courage in the face of citizen dissatisfaction.

" Words like these make you feel that beyond the mud, stones, and drool, this difficult mission is worth it precisely for the impact of good deeds. When these words reach you, there is no more extraordinary taste than receiving strength, for so many others who are waiting and who deserve to be rewarded in faith ," Rama writes.

The published letter was sent by Margarita Mustafaj, an immigrant from Durrës who has lived in Italy for 30 years. She thanks the prime minister for the Albania-Italy pension agreement, the reconstruction after the earthquake, and asks him to continue working on the agreement with Greece.

" Long live Edi, because we know what it means to achieve such a victory. You have our support. The diaspora is still waiting for you ," the citizen writes in the letter published by the prime minister.
