During the rally, a call was made for another protest in front of the Parliament the next day...
The 32nd citizens' protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office building has ended. With the end of their speeches and demands for the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama, the protesters have begun their night-long march through the streets of Tirana.
With chants of "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", "Rama resign" and banners in their hands, citizens continued their march through the streets of the capital.
As in every other protest this month, there was no shortage of spicy banners filled with stinging 'memes' directed at Rama, the Government, and the old political caste.
One of the most interesting banners was the one of the bust of Enver Hoxha with Rama's head, with which citizens sent the message that they will overthrow him just like the dictator.
Also during the rally, a call was made for another protest to be held in front of the Parliament the next day, where MPs would be prevented from entering the Parliament hall, as according to them they do not represent them.
At the conclusion of the rally, the call for even greater mobilization in Tuesday's protest in front of the Parliament was repeated from the podium, with organizers emphasizing that the civic movement will continue until its demands are met and the current governing system is changed.
