The civic march begins

After over two hours of speeches, thousands of protesters begin the march in Tirana...

After more than two hours of speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, protesters have begun the traditional march through the streets of Tirana, once again turning the capital into the epicenter of the civic revolt that has now entered its 28th day.

With dozens of red and black flags in their hands and amid incessant cheers, citizens are marching through the capital's boulevards, demanding the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama and a change in the political class that, according to them, has governed the country for more than three decades.

During the march, chants are being echoed that have already become the main slogans of this movement: "The end has come for you", "Rama resigns", "Rama goes", "New Albania", "Rama in prison", "Berisha in prison", as well as other calls against corruption and the political system.

The atmosphere is similar to previous nights, but organizers describe today's protest as a special moment, as it was called as a national protest and gathered citizens from different areas of the country.

The march comes after a series of speeches were given at the podium by citizens, activists, and public figures, who reiterated demands for the government's resignation, the creation of a transitional technical government, and profound constitutional and electoral changes.

Protesters have declared that the movement is no longer just against the project in Zvërnec, where the revolt began four weeks ago, but has transformed into a broad reaction against the government and the entire political caste.

As the column of protesters continues to march through the streets of Tirana, organizers have made it clear that the protest will continue every day until their demands are met, led by the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Si do t'i mbijetojë Kryeministri Flamingo kësaj? A do të përgjigjet Pacolli?
