Investigative journalist Artan Hoxha spoke about the recent attack that left 2 people dead and two injured in Shkodra.
Referring to the recent massacre, Hoxha said that many criminal events in the city of Shkodra have not yet been solved and have remained unsolved, as according to him, the structures have failed.
The journalist also stated that criminal groups in Shkodra have connections to the government.
"If you allow criminals to appoint deputies, ministers, etc., it shows that they have connections to the government, while also receiving public funds, because they have agreements with the government. Shkodra resembles Palermo in the 80s. Our structures have failed," the journalist told "News 24".
He also spoke about the need to establish a national operator to solve the murders in Shkodra.
"Many events in Shkodra have no perpetrators. Bardhok Pllana was killed and there is no perpetrator, Mir Koçiu was killed and there are no people in custody. In Shkodra there is a thick rope of crime... I told the Prime Minister to his face that Shkodra today does not have a problem with street crime, but with organized crime. What is happening there is that there are victims and injured people who are completely innocent.
"We need a national operator to shed light on the events in Shkodra. If it allows criminals to appoint deputies, ministers, etc., it shows that they have connections to the government, while also receiving public funds, because they have agreements with the government. Shkodra resembles the Palermo of the 80s. Our structures have failed ," said Artan Hoxha.
