"The issue should be sent to the CEC", Lefter Maliqi: Kreshnik Hajdari convicted in Greece, but back in the chair

Lefter Maliqi and lawyer Arben Llangozi have requested the Tirana Administrative Court to refer the case of Kuçovë Mayor Kreshnik Hajdari to the CEC. According to them, the KAS decision clearly shows that a mayor convicted by a final decision should be dismissed immediately.

According to Lefter Maliqi, Kreshnik Hajdari is pushing his mandate through courts and institutions with the protection of captured politics and justice.

Lefter Maliqi recalled Ervin Salianj's conviction for a false declaration, while according to him, Kreshnik Hajdari continues to be in office despite having 11 reports in SPAK.

The Tirana Administrative Court registered Kreshnik Hajdari's case in January 2024 and the first hearing took place today. According to Maliqi, this is not simply a delay in the process, but a flagrant violation of the principle of trial within a reasonable time.
