The next citizen protest is taking place in Tirana against Prime Minister Edi Rama and the political class in general, whom they hold responsible for the 36 years of Albanian transition.
The march started from Skanderbeg Square and continued along the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard to stop at the Prime Minister's Office.
"Edi Rama, you traitor, wait for the people because they are coming", "Edi Rama, you traitor, resign as soon as possible", "New Albania", "The end has come for you", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", "Edi Rama, you traitor, don't bargain with Albania", "Without youth, there is no Albania", are some of the calls that the protesters have raised during their march.
This is the 29th protest that has been taking place without interruption against Prime Minister Edi Rama, who has ruled out any option of leaving government office, stating that he has a "contract" with over 800,000 Albanian voters who gave him a 4th mandate to lead the country.
"Resign, resign" was another call to the Prime Minister, who according to some reports is in one of the government villas in the south of the country.
"Edi Rama is finished, finished, finished", "Sala is finished too, finished, finished", were other calls from the protesters, to show their revolt not only against the Prime Minister, but also against the leader of the opposition, who is considered a "sellout".
