At the start of the 29th citywide protest, activist Arben Kola gave a speech to protesters gathered in Skanderbeg Square, where he declared that the demand should no longer be the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama from power, but his confrontation with justice.

"Rama leaving does not serve us, but Rama in prison, because we all believe that he stole and sold Albania. We have all the evidence. That is why he should be put in prison and his assets should be confiscated. Rama in prison, Berisha in prison ," Kola said to the protesters.

His statement was greeted with cheers from some of those present, while the protest then continued with a march towards the Prime Minister's Office building.
