The 29th protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama is taking place this Sunday, where participants have repeated the demand for the removal of the head of government and have called for continued resistance.
During the rally, slogans were heard such as: "Albanians unanimously demand the removal of the prime minister", "No one is bigger than Albania" and "Edi Rama, come out to the boulevard. The homeland is ours, not private business".
One of the protesters stated that the goal of the rally is the resignation of the government and the change of the system that he described as corrupt. According to him, the participants are determined to continue the protest until this objective is achieved.
He called on State Police officers not to take actions that could create tensions during the protest, even if they receive orders to do so. At the same time, he asked protesters to avoid any reaction to provocations, claiming that they have increased over the past week.
The protest continues on the boulevard, while participants have declared that they will continue their mobilization demanding the resignation of the prime minister.
