A serious incident was recorded this Sunday afternoon in the tourist area of Jala, in Himara, where a vacationer lost his life after allegedly accidentally falling inside the hotel room where he was staying.
According to preliminary data, the victim is suspected of slipping and being hit hard on the head during the fall, suffering serious injuries.
Immediately after the alert, medical personnel arrived at the scene, provided first aid to the injured person and urgently transported him to Himara Hospital. However, due to severe head trauma, including skull fractures and cerebral damage, he could not survive his injuries.
The Himara Police Forces have launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident. Up to this stage, the main line of investigation remains that of an accident, while it is expected that the authorities will provide more details after the completion of the procedural actions.
The identity of the victim has not yet been made public by authorities.
