During the 29th protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama, activist Andi Tepelena leveled accusations against the head of government, claiming that the project known as the "Garden of Eden" has cost around 4 million euros.
"He built the Garden of Eden. There is no transparency on how it was paid for. The ADF says we didn't do it. So how was it done? Rama works with oligarchs and spends 4 million euros on his whims," Tepelena said during his speech.
The activist also accused the government of drafting laws that, according to him, violate the interests of Albanian citizens, claiming that a draft law is being prepared that will enable foreigners to acquire property in Albania.
At the end of his speech, Tepelena also called on international representatives to take a stance regarding the political situation in the country.
"Internationalists should decide whether they are with the Albanian people or with Ali Baba and the 40 thieves," he declared to the protesters.
