Erjona Paruca, the soprano who has joined the civic revolt against Edi Rama and the political class as a whole, which she considers responsible for the state of the country, said that the Prime Minister is a communist and will remain so.
Paruca, speaking at the protest, also had a message for Taulant Balla, the head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, who occasionally mocks protesters, including the soprano.
"Taulant Balla prayed to God to forgive me for being among you here. I tell Taulant Balla that I ask God for forgiveness every day because we are all not without sins. But Taulant Balla, how will you do it, where will you fit in?

"We are still politically persecuted. Edi Rama is a communist and will remain so," she said.
