Carlo Ancelotti has secured a new contract with the Brazilian Football Confederation, which will keep him in charge of the national team until the end of the 2030 World Cup. The agreement was signed in May, shortly before the start of the 2026 World Cup.
According to details published by "Bild", the Italian coach will earn 10 million euros net per season, significantly increasing his income compared to the previous contract, which provided for 10 million euros gross per year.
The contract also includes a special bonus if Brazil wins the World Cup. In that case, Ancelotti will receive up to an additional 7 million euros.
In addition to the financial aspect, the agreement also guarantees a package of benefits. The federation has provided him with an armored limousine, covers the costs of a luxury apartment overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the Barra da Tijuca area of Rio de Janeiro and provides him with free trips to Europe or other destinations whenever necessary.
Barra da Tijuca has also been chosen as the base of the Brazilian Federation, as it is considered a quieter and less busy area than Copacabana or Ipanema.
Meanwhile, Ancelotti has also invested in off-field preparation. He has taken an intensive two-month Portuguese language course with four sessions per week, with the aim of communicating directly with the players during the 2026 World Cup.
