A NATO ship, flying the Italian flag, has been stationed for three days in the city of Vlora as part of an inspection mission of the TAP gas pipeline.
Sources indicate that during this period, technical verifications and monitoring were carried out along the offshore segment of the pipeline, an important part of the energy infrastructure in the region.
It is learned that the mission has ended today, while the ship is expected to leave the port of Vlora in the coming hours, writes A2 CNN.

Meanwhile, the Energy Regulatory Authority has extended to July 1, 2026 the deadline for the TAP gas pipeline to fulfill the condition imposed as part of its gas transmission licensing and related to property titles.
The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) is a strategic infrastructure project that transports natural gas from the Shah Deniz II field in Azerbaijan to Europe. It stretches for approximately 870 km, passing through Greece, Albania and the Adriatic Sea to Italy. TAP is part of the Southern Gas Corridor and aims to diversify Europe's energy sources.
