Milan are very close to finalizing the transfer of Gonçalo Ramos from PSG. The Portuguese striker is considered coach Ruben Amorim's main request for the offensive department and the agreement between the two clubs is reported to have been reached for around 55 million euros, plus 5 million euros in bonuses.
According to reports, the player has also undergone medical examinations, while the official announcement is expected to come in the coming days. With this operation, Ramos will become the most expensive transfer in Milan's history, surpassing the record set by Rafael Leao, for whom the club paid 49.5 million euros. At the same time, this will also be one of the most expensive transfers made in Serie A in the last seven years.
From Benfica to PSG
Born on June 24, 2001 in Olhao, Portugal, Gonçalo Ramos began his career at Olhanense before moving to Benfica's academy in 2013. He quickly rose through the youth ranks, and in the 2019-2020 season he scored 20 goals in 40 games and was named the UEFA Youth League's top scorer.
His debut with the Benfica first team came in 2020, when he scored two goals in the match against Desportivo das Aves. After the departure of Darvin Nunez, Ramos became the team's starting striker and in 2023 he made history as the youngest player to score two goals in the Lisbon Derby against Sporting.
Adventure with PSG
In the summer of 2023, he moved to PSG, where he immediately won the French championship and the French Cup. After a difficult second season, affected by an ankle injury that kept him out of the field for about three months, Ramos returned to form and contributed to the team's successes, winning Ligue 1, the French Cup and the Champions League.

Off the pitch, Gonçalo Ramos is the partner of Margarida Amaral Domingues, with whom he has a son, Bernardo, born last year. The couple had planned to get married in the summer, but the ceremony was postponed due to the footballer's commitments with the Portuguese national team.
Ramos is also known by the nicknames "O Pistoleiro" and "Feliticeiro" ("The Magician"), the latter earned thanks to his ability to often be in the right place at the right moment to score.
