Kosovo's acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has stated that the party he leads claims to win 60 percent of the votes in the June 7 snap elections.
The candidate for prime minister from the Vetevendosje Movement stated that based on the increase in results, they aim to achieve this result. He emphasized that the opposition needs another defeat.
"If 51.1% wasn't enough, maybe 60% was enough. This is our goal. We want to win more and more. I don't need a new victory, but it seems that the opposition needs a new defeat ," Kurti declared on the "Interaktiv" show on KTV.
He also accused the opposition of not understanding the weight of institutions and that they think Kurti is the state itself.
"These people think that I am the state. I am not the state. I am only the prime minister, and the acting prime minister at that. I am not Louis XIV," Kurti said.
