A serious incident occurred this Saturday in Klinë, Peja, where a person was shot dead, allegedly by his brother, after a conflict between them.
Kosovo Police spokesman for the Peja region, Fadil Gashi, confirmed that the incident occurred at around 3:10 PM, after authorities were notified of a fight between two brothers that ended with the use of a weapon.
Initially, the injured man was transported in serious condition to the Peja hospital, where he received medical treatment. However, due to the injuries he sustained, he did not survive.
Police have launched investigations to clarify the full circumstances of the incident.
"Around 15:10, the police were notified that, after an argument between two brothers, one of them shot the other with a gun. The victim was taken to the Klina emergency room and then transferred to the Peja Hospital. Shortly before leaving for the UCCK for medical treatment, the victim unfortunately passed away. The relevant police and Prosecution units have arrived at the scene, and are continuing with the investigative procedures," stated Fadil Gashi.
