A fatal accident was recorded on Tuesday evening in the Vlora district, where an 80-year-old woman lost her life after being hit by a vehicle.
According to the Police report, the incident occurred at around 10:00 PM, on the Vranisht-Vlora road, in the center of the village of Vranisht. The vehicle driven by citizen A. Ll., about 59 years old, resident of Vranisht, hit pedestrian Th. Sh., about 80 years old.
As a result of the collision, the elderly woman died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle has been escorted to the police station, where procedural actions are being carried out to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
Meanwhile, the investigation team is at the scene and continues to work to determine the causes of this fatal accident.
