Rama again attacked the protesters, accusing them of conducting an "inquisition" against the book "The Albanian Files" and comparing their reactions to the atmosphere of the Chinese Cultural Revolution.
Prime Minister Edi Rama has harshened his tone towards protesters who have opposed the book "The Albanian Files", comparing their reactions to an "inquisition" and the atmosphere of the Chinese Cultural Revolution.
"I don't want to talk about the book, but I want to talk about an inquisition that has begun regarding the book, an inquisition that stems from the spirit of the boulevard, where the protest that began for nature has created many other branches and one of the branches is precisely the inquisitorial branch, which persecutes, with accusations and slander, one of the most important groups that has approached Albania in these 30 years," said Rama.
During the "Flasim" podcast, the head of government said that criticism of the book is not an intellectual debate, but a campaign of accusations and slander against the authors and architects who contributed to the publication.
According to Rama, the book has become the object of attack by what he called a "revolutionary inquisition of protest," while emphasizing that the publication was not politically controlled and that each author had complete freedom to select his texts and materials.
"'The Albanian Files' has been targeted by the inquisition, because I cannot call it intellectual, but by the revolutionary inquisition of protest, while it is not my book and it is not a publication controlled by me. I have only provided a preface text, while each author has had complete independence for his materials and texts ," he said.
The Prime Minister also touched on the satirical letter by architect Reinier de Graaf, where he is ironically suggested to become "king", emphasizing that it has been deliberately misinterpreted as a political message.
"To tailor such a publication, as if it were the time of the Chinese Cultural Revolution and, above all, to grab a text that is self-ironic, from a world-renowned architect, this is the pinnacle. The letter is not a real call for me to become king, but is part of the author's satirical style and has been deliberately misinterpreted," he added.
Rama insisted that the letter is part of the author's ironic style and that its use to attack the book is evidence of a climate that, according to him, resembles the most extremist periods in history.
"It is a new recent publication and contains the works, projects, ideas, notes of 60 architects and studios with an indisputable international reputation that connects them together throughout the pages of the book, Albania. I do not want to talk about the book, but about an inquisition that has begun in connection with the book. An inquisition that stems from the spirit of the boulevard where the protest that began for nature has created many other branches and one of the branches is the inquisitorial branch that persecutes, in the literal sense, with accusations, with slander, one of the things and one of the most important groups that have approached Albania in these 30 years and the history of Albania.
People who have made their name and history on the world architecture scene and have gathered in Albania, making contributions that, among other things, will make this country and the girls and boys of this country, architects, urban planners, tomorrow produce an Albanian name that will shine on the world stage because we have the largest and most prestigious open-air university of architecture and urban development where architects increase their expertise.
The Albanian Files has been targeted by the revolutionary inquisition of protest, while it is not my book nor published by me, I have simply provided a preface text that I am proud to have as Prime Minister of Albania, invited to write with this entire army of architects and it has come as a completely independent editorial project and are contributions from studios that have been working in Albania for the last two decades. It is something phenomenal, there are controversial, criticizable, debatable things, but to sew such a publication and to be caught with a self-ironic text by an architect who represents one of the largest studios, is the peak!.
"All participants had complete independence, they determined their reflections. De Graff's open letter is proof of this autonomy. Even the title is ironic for an Albania that comes from a time of files while today the files are all open," Rama said, among other things.

Në fund, pas vitesh rezistence paqësore dhe ndryshimeve politike pas Lufta e Dytë Botërore, India fitoi pavarësinë në vitin 1947. Udhëheqja paqësore e Gandhit luajti një rol vendimtar në mobilizimin e popullit dhe në arritjen e saj.
Kujtoni si u mek i forti Rama kur reagoi pas protestes per pagesen tek trau i rruges se Kombit. I merrej fryma dhe me zor fliste ishte ne gjendje mjerane. Pra kujtoni ato pamje sa here ky trimerohet dhe kercenon.
Ky liber shpreh ne formen me te qarte idete e tua per shitjen e SHQIPERISE nepermjet rembimit te pronave me oligarket dhe krimin. Ky tregon me se miri vizionin tend o hajdut. Nje prove me shume dhe e efekteshme ne nivel nderkombetar. Do paguash o hajdut. Me keta arkitektet e tu shkaterove Bregdetin, shkaterove Tiranen qe e katandise ne nje qytet pa trotuare. Trotuari eshte pjese e rendesishme e jetes se perditeshme te nje njeriu. Ti grabit cdo gje me stil, nga parate te hapesira dhe jeta e shqiptareve te thjeshte.
Sa te mire dhe te zgjuar jane "t'hujt"..Sa te "qelbur dhe te paditur" jane Shqipetaret..Apo jo Rame????
Mistra qe enderron te behet mbret! Mbreter kemi degjuar e pare, por "kumbare" te behen mbreter, vetem ne Shwiperi po tenton te ndodhi ! Krahas ligesive, duhet te kete edhe ndonje patologji tjeter. Eshte programuar per ti sherbyer interesave te erreta qe jane ne thelb fitimprurese dhe kunder ketij kombi.
