
Prime Minister Edi Rama has kept the promise he made to the SP candidate in Vlora, Ina Mjako. The latter ran for MP as a representative of the Roma community, but was not elected. Rama promised her that he would make her part of the government if she did not win.
With a decision of the Council of Ministers published today, Ina Majko has been appointed Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection.
The decision was taken in support of Article 100 of the Constitution and Article 6, point 2, of Law No. 9000, dated 30.1.2003 "On the organization and functioning of the Council of Ministers", upon the proposal of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
To make way for Majko, the decision was also made to dismiss Niko Hyka from the position of Deputy Minister of Health.
