Lawyer Romeo Kara has made a strong statement about two of the most well-known figures of the Albanian transition: Pandeli Majko and Ilir Meta.
In a long interview for "Shqip" with Rudina Xhunga on Dritare TV, he said that they are to blame for the situation the country is in today.
" The greatest responsibility for the destruction of some of the foundations of state building, such as property, such as the demolition of factories, does not only belong to Berisha, but especially to two uneducated and uneducated sons: Majko and Meta ," he said.
According to Kara, their decisions have had devastating consequences, not only for the economy, but for the very structure of the Albanian state.
He cited the demolition of factories, the destruction of public property, and the sale of army weaponry for scrap as actions that have left irreversible consequences.
In this interview, Kara described the Albanian transition as a period where ignorance and greed walked side by side, highlighting that many of the "hopes" of that time turned out to be detrimental to the country.
