The protests that have been going on for weeks now seem to have started to produce vibrations even within the Socialist Party. While well-known left-wing figures, such as Ditmir Bushati, Arben Malaj, Arta Dade and others, have held critical positions towards the government or expressed support for the protesters, a reaction by Socialist MP Romina Kuko is being interpreted as a counter-response to these voices.
But in political circles, attention has been particularly focused on Elisa Spiropali, who has recently been involved in debates and indirect clashes with Prime Minister Edi Rama, becoming one of the most commented figures within the socialist camp.
In a long post, Kuko harshly attacks those who, according to her, are trying to politically benefit from the civic revolt without taking direct responsibility.
" There is still something that very few say out loud. Those who direct this rhetoric are not naive. They are people who understand history and know its lessons. They know exactly that the New Deal had names, laws and dates, they know how the Arab Spring ended, they know what the balance of power was in Poland, Czechoslovakia or in the last decade in Ukraine. They know why. They also know whose battlefield it was and above all they know that the 'new Albania' does not have their characteristics. They know that the call 'to prison' does not constitute a strategy (aimé, in a state of law), but fuel for anger. They also know that ambiguity, fog is not a failure of the movement but its lever.
Without a name, without a party, without a platform, no one is held accountable if things go wrong, but if they go well, then they emerge as its founder. This is precisely the logic of political opportunism: stay in the shadow of a public emotion for as long as it is useful, keep the vague form for as long as you do not make commitments, and when the moment comes, take the political capital, the candidacy. But this is not civic renewal, it is more like careerism dressed in the garb of revolution , "writes Kuko.
Although the socialist MP does not mention any names, the timing of the reaction and the references to "political opportunism", "political capital" and "careerism dressed in the garb of revolution" are read as a message to the figures who have chosen to position themselves alongside the protesters.
Among them, Elisa Spiropali is seen as the character who could be most directly affected by this message, due to her recent debates with Rama and the role she has taken in the public discussion about political developments.
PS (jo rilindja) i duhet Shqipërisë. Por jo më me Rama, Zeqinera dhe Balla. Një PS nordike a gjermane. Me Maqo Lakrorë dhe Alfres Paloka, A do kenë fuqi të falin nga qerthull zoti e di.
"Ne nje shtet te se drejtes:, thot bastardja hajdute. Ne nje shtet ku te gjithe vartësit e kryeministrit jane ne krim, ne arrati, apo ne restorante me mafiozet.
