According to the announcement of the Greek authorities, Turkey's air activities in the Aegean Sea continued on June 23, 2026, with several incidents recorded in the northeastern, central and southeastern parts of the region.

According to data published by the General Staff of the Greek National Defense, a total of five aircraft were involved in the day's incidents: two armed F-16 fighter jets flying in formation, two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and an ATR-72 aircraft.

Greek authorities reported seven violations of air traffic regulations in the Athens Flight Information Region (FIR) and six violations of national airspace. Two cases of aerial confrontations (engagements/interceptions) between military aircraft were also recorded.

According to the Greek side, all aircraft were identified in accordance with international rules and intercepted according to standard operating procedures.

Data published by Greek authorities show that of the seven reported violations, one was attributed to F-16 aircraft, five to UAVs and one to an ATR-72 aircraft. Meanwhile, of the six airspace violations, one was attributed to F-16s and five to an ATR-72 aircraft.
