Police have found and seized the firearm that was used in the incident, along with combat ammunition.
Police have solved the incident that occurred on Friday evening in the Babrrusë area, in Kamëz, where gunfire was fired at a mobile phone service.
According to the police, 18-year-old Rejsi Muça, after a conflict for weak motives with the owner of the service, a citizen with the initials Xh. I., fired two automatic firearms at the business.
As a result, only material damage was caused to the exterior facade and interior of the service, while no injuries were reported.
The services of Police Commissariat No. 5 immediately organized an operation to identify and capture the perpetrator, who was located about 3 kilometers from the scene and was put in handcuffs.
During a search of the area, police found and seized the automatic weapon used in the attack, as well as combat ammunition.
"The investigative actions documented that the suspected perpetrator, citizen RM, 18 years old, after a conflict for weak motives with the owner of the service, citizen Xh. I., fired twice with an automatic firearm in the direction of the business, causing only material damage to the exterior facade and interior.
"As part of the police operation "Discovery" organized and conducted in a very short time, the Police services located, about 3 kilometers from the scene of the incident, captured and handcuffed the RM citizen, 18 years old," the police announced.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further investigative actions.
