"From the initial investigative actions it results that, at around 02:05, in the "Skënderbeg" neighborhood, in Lezha, the 28-year-old, resident of Tirana, went by vehicle to pick up his cohabitant. At this moment, her family members came out and, for reasons related to family relations, he is suspected of having hit the cohabitant's mother, citizen KH, 43 years old, with his vehicle, causing bodily injuries, and then left the scene.
As a result of the rapid response and intensive actions of the Police, within the framework of the police operation codenamed "Reaction", citizen CB, 28 years old, was located, arrested and put in handcuffs for the criminal offense of "Murder due to family relations", remaining in the attempted stage.
The injured person was transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where she continues to be under the care of doctors. The vehicle used in the incident was seized as material evidence," the police announced.
