Former MP Myslim Murrizi has reacted to the protests taking place in Tirana, stating that they have marked an awakening of civic reaction and that participation in them is not the result of political organization by the districts.
Murrizi said that he was present at the protest and that, according to him, the participation came mainly from the citizens of Tirana.
" The protest has awakened the citizen's nerves. I was present. Tirana has come out to the square, not in districts called by the DP. Rama is naked in front of every chancellery of the West that he is no longer the one with the most votes, the one with 84 mandates. He has openly shown that he has bought the mandates, he has brought the citizens to that stage where they are poor in order to rape them and buy them cheaply ", he said in "MCN".
Further, the former MP accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of using the administration and patronage for political purposes.
" Rama has hired patronage agents, he pays them with citizens' taxes. With money he steals from Albanians ," declared Murrizi.
He also raised accusations about strategic investment projects in the country, claiming that illegally obtained money is behind them.
" In my view, the money belongs to the thieves of the Albanian government. Both Alabar, and Zvërnec, and every strategic investment. The real investor in Zvërnec is the government. The thieves of the Albanian government bring the money in bags with charters and tell the billionaire, you will come and invest ," he said.
At the end of his statement, Murrizi demanded that SPAK investigate the prime minister.
" SPAK should call Rama under investigation. SPAK does not dare to register his name as a person under investigation ," the former MP said.
Murriz's statements constitute his political positions and accusations. So far, there has been no reaction from the Prime Minister's Office or the aforementioned institutions regarding these allegations.
