Prime Minister Edi Rama has published a photo with French President Emmanuel Macron, as thousands of citizens outside his office, on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, demand his resignation.
Rama published the photo with Macron around 8:00 PM, as the protest against him had begun and the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard was filled with chants of "Rama resign."
It seems that the Prime Minister has chosen to challenge the protesters, while also showing the support he has from the President of France.
Rama stated that the project for the "Rebirth of the French Lyceum of Korça" has already been placed on the table of French President Emmanuel Macron, being treated as one of the initiatives being pursued under his auspices.
According to Rama, this development comes as a result of the recent visit to the French capital, where the strengthening of cultural and educational cooperation between Albania and France, as well as projects of historical importance for the country, were discussed.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that a decade ago it would have been unimaginable for France to have such a direct commitment to Albania.

Today, the Renaissance of the French Lyceum of Korça is on the table of the President of France, as one of the projects under his care, after the historic visit to Tirana. A decade ago, France taking care of Albania and Albania being considered a strategic partner of France in the Balkans, would have been unimaginable.
