On the 24th day of the civic protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama, banners were once again in the spotlight. Among the thousands of citizens who marched and gathered on the boulevard, dozens of ironic messages, satirical memes and political caricatures stood out, mocking the government, the prime minister and the political class as a whole.
Since the start of the protest, banners have become the main weapon of the protesters. In the absence of traditional political structures, citizens have chosen humor, irony, and satire to convey their dissatisfaction with the government.
