Activist Evi Kokalari has erupted in a strong reaction against Jamarbër Malltez, Sali Berisha's son-in-law, accusing him of being one of the main causes of the opposition's failure and the strengthening of Edi Rama's majority.
"If you shut your mouth, Abi Malltezi, and be investigated! You, your wife and your entire family are the reason Rama is in his fourth term, stronger and more popular than ever. This means he will win another one in 2029," Kokalari said on social media.
According to her, the stance of Malltezi and figures connected to the Berisha family in politics has no other purpose than to protect themselves from corruption investigations.
"You all need to get out of politics, you trash people, who don't understand that you are hurting every Albanian, because you need to protect your ass from major corruption investigations," she further writes.
Reacting to the right's poor result, Kokalari emphasizes that citizens have rejected the old political figures and calls on them to leave immediately.
"Albanian right-wingers have REJECTED you all, so get the hell out of here and let us take control of our country! At the very least, save us our two cents and keep your mouth shut because – NOBODY CARES what you have to say!", she says.
Her reaction comes at a time when divisions within the opposition have deepened and demands for deep reform of political structures are growing.
