New details have emerged regarding the incident that occurred in the Shkoza area of Tirana, where police officer Anxhelo Kumaraku was wounded by gunfire.
The incident occurred shortly after midnight, where the 30-year-old police officer was in the company of his neighbor, Kedi Spaja, 31, who was under house arrest for illegal possession of weapons, but who had broken it at that moment.
The spa was also the target of the assassination attempt.
The investigation team suspects that the perpetrators are two brothers who are wanted. One of them may be the perpetrator in this incident.
The two brothers allegedly had a conflict over a debt issue with the officer's neighbor. At the time of the incident, the police officer was accompanied by his neighbor, who had violated the 'house arrest' security measure.
It is learned that a few months ago, due to this conflict, the officer's neighbor raped the two brothers and in retaliation, they shot him with a gun, but the bullets caught the policeman.
During the few statements the officer gave, he stated that he had not been notified that his neighbor had broken the security measure and that they were in an alley near the house, as he had known him since childhood.
We remind you that the Tirana Police announced that at around 00:10 in Shkoza, a police officer was injured. The latter was off duty when the incident occurred. The 30-year-old was transported to the hospital and is out of danger.
It was also reported that the police officer was near his apartment accompanied by his neighbor, a person under house arrest for illegal possession of weapons. It is suspected that the target of the assassination was the officer's neighbor.
