Saranda Police have solved the armed conflict that occurred on Thursday afternoon in Saranda, where two people were injured, one of whom was arrested for illegal possession of weapons.
Meanwhile, in an official announcement, the Police announced that they have announced a search for 4 people involved in the incident.
According to the police, the conflict occurred for weak motives.
"Investigative actions have revealed that for weak motives, these citizens physically clashed with citizens GH, 33 years old, and EL, 25 years old, both residents of Tirana, and during this conflict, citizen RZ is suspected of shooting at them with a firearm, seriously injuring both of them. Citizens G. H. and E. L. are in the Trauma Hospital, Tirana, under the care of doctors," the police announced.

The incident that occurred yesterday in Saranda, where two citizens were injured by gunfire, is being clarified and documented.
Four citizens involved in this incident are wanted, one of whom attempted to shoot the two citizens.
One of the injured was also arrested, after a firearm, a pistol, was found and seized during the search.
Following the investigations to clarify and document the event that occurred on 17.07.2025, at around 15:00, in a bar, in neighborhood no. 3, Saranda, the specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes at the Vlora DVP, in cooperation with the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes at the Saranda Police Commissariat, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Saranda, carried out all investigative and procedural actions necessary for the full legal documentation of the event, where as a result four citizens were declared wanted:
• RZ, 43 years old, resident of Saranda, for the criminal offense of "Murder in other qualifying circumstances", which remained an attempt.
• EC, 36 years old, AM, 43 years old, and KJ, 31 years old, all three residents of Saranda, for the criminal offense of “Supporting the perpetrator of a crime”.
The investigative actions have resulted in the conclusion that for weak motives, these citizens physically clashed with citizens GH, 33 years old, and EL, 25 years old, both residents of Tirana, and during this conflict, citizen RZ is suspected of having shot at them with a firearm, seriously injuring both of them. Citizens G. H. and E. L. are in the Trauma Hospital, Tirana, under the care of doctors.
During the investigations and checks carried out in the context of solving this incident, a firearm, a pistol, was found and seized from citizen GH. Following the actions, he was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
At the scene, 4 firearm cartridges, a "Beretta" type pistol, and a magazine with 9 cartridges were seized as material evidence.
Work continues to capture the wanted persons and bring them to justice.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
