A 28-year-old man has been arrested by police in Vau e Dejës after being caught with a firearm. The young man was carrying a gun, endangering public safety.
The police seized the weapon and ammunition.

Following police actions aimed at identifying and stopping citizens who move around armed, endangering public safety and the lives of citizens, the services of the Vau i Dejës Police Commissariat, as part of Operation "Brezi", dealt with a case of illegal possession of weapons.
Citizen EP, 28 years old, resident of the village of Nënshat, was arrested for this case.
This citizen was caught red-handed by the Police services in the village of Nënshat, while carrying a firearm, a pistol, with combat ammunition, which he possessed without a permit.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office for further action ," the police announced.
