A Mercedes Benz vehicle was engulfed in flames in the early hours of this morning in the city of Korça. According to preliminary sources, the car was completely burned by the fire that broke out around 02:00, causing extensive material damage.
Immediately after the report, firefighters arrived at the scene and managed to extinguish the flames, but the vehicle was already completely engulfed in flames. The fire also affected a small part of another vehicle parked nearby.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident, following two leads: deliberate arson and accidental causes. The investigation team is on the scene and is expected to determine the exact cause of the fire in the coming hours.
