Four people wanted for various criminal offenses have been arrested by police in the capital.
According to the announcement, a 33-year-old man was arrested for the criminal offenses of "Domestic Violence" and "Unlicensed Production and Possession of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition". While another arrested person is a 36-year-old man sentenced to prison for "Intentional Serious Injury".
Two people wanted for the criminal offenses of "Theft" and "Aid for illegal border crossing" have also been arrested.
"The structures of the Tirana DVP, as a result of field checks carried out based on information obtained operationally, within the framework of the "Catch" operation, captured and handcuffed 4 wanted citizens, specifically:
-Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 2 arrested and detained citizen JP, 33 years old, resident of Tirana, after the Prosecution issued a detention order for him, for the criminal offenses of "Domestic Violence" and "Unlicensed Production and Possession of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition".
-The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 4, in cooperation with the services of Police Station No. 2, arrested and detained citizen AK, 36 years old. The Court of Tirana sentenced this citizen to 3 years and 4 months in prison for the criminal offense "Intentional serious injury"; to 10 months in prison for the criminal offenses "Violation of traffic rules" and "Leaving the scene of an accident"; and assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense "Stalking".
-The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 4 in cooperation with the services of the Traffic Police Station arrested and detained citizen AH, 42 years old, after the Tirana Court sentenced him to 3 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Theft".
-The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Commissariat No. 4 arrested citizen GH, 41 years old. From the 5-year prison sentence, given by the Gjirokastër Court of Appeal, for the criminal offense of "Aid for illegal border crossing", this citizen has 11 months and 21 days left to serve. Other procedural actions for this citizen will be carried out by the Gjirokastër DVP" , the police announced.
