A 57-year-old woman has passed away in her apartment in Vlora, following a surgical procedure she had previously undergone.

Police have launched an investigation into the case, and the cause of death is expected to be determined.

"Crime Investigation Specialists at the Vlora Police Station referred materials for evaluation, after a surgical intervention performed earlier, the 57-year-old MB citizen passed away in her apartment. Work continues to determine the exact cause of death," the police explain.
