An Albanian, fortunately, has escaped a bomb attack. The incident occurred on Monday evening in Attica, more specifically on Riga Feraio Street, in Kalyvia (Greece).
A bag containing an improvised explosive device was found under a parked vehicle.
The bag was found by the car's owner, an Albanian citizen, whose name is not being released by the Greek police.
He immediately notified the authorities and officers from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Department (TEEM) went to the scene.
ELAS was immediately called in, which surrounded the area. Members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Department (TEEM) then carried out a controlled explosion to neutralize it, Greek media reported.
