21-year-old thief arrested in Tirana; money, radio, police uniform and handcuffs

A 21-year-old man has been arrested by Tirana police after being accused of theft. It is learned that the young man has been previously convicted of the same criminal offense. 

According to information, it is believed that the 21-year-old was also pushing a minor to commit theft. 

The blue uniforms have seized radios, handcuffs, combat ammunition, police clothing and a large amount of money.

"He committed theft and pushed a 13-year-old minor to commit theft, the 21-year-old is identified, captured and put in handcuffs.

The 21-year-old was previously convicted of theft.

Police clothing, a radio, handcuffs, combat ammunition, and a large amount of money are seized.

Following the investigative and operational work, with the aim of identifying and bringing to criminal responsibility the perpetrators of the thefts, the services of Police Commissariat No. 4 finalized the operation "Repeater".

As part of this operation, citizen SK, 21 years old, resident of Tirana, was identified, arrested and placed in handcuffs.

The investigation revealed that on 20.11.2025, citizen SK stole, by breaking and entering, various products from a market.

During the investigative actions, it was proven that this citizen collaborated and incited a 13-year-old minor to commit theft, specifically:

-theft of a large amount of money and various products in a market;

-theft of a large amount of money in a bar, both thefts occurring on 06.12.2025.

Also, during the investigation, it was discovered that the 21-year-old sold police uniforms, a radio, a pair of handcuffs, and combat ammunition to another citizen. Work is still underway to determine the source of these illegal items.

All of the illegal items, along with a sum of money suspected to be stolen, were seized as material evidence.

" The procedural materials were passed to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action ," the police announced.
