Italian media have published photos and details of the escape of 41-year-old Taulant Toma from a high-security prison in Milan.
The Albanian convict can be considered a 'master' of escapes, as this Sunday is the fourth time he has managed to escape from different prisons.
Investigators are analyzing security cameras to understand the method and timing of the escape, as well as to understand how he managed to cross the perimeter wall, which is about six meters high.
Taulant Toma had been convicted of various crimes, including violent theft and previous prison escapes.
He was one of the few who had escaped from prison several times, bringing back memories of the city of Terni, where he first escaped in 2009 from the Sabbione prison, during a football match inside the cell.
The search then lasted for weeks and involved helicopters and units with training dogs.
He was later captured in an abandoned house in the province of Pavia.
He then escaped twice more in 2013: in February from Parma prison together with a compatriot and then was arrested in Belgium in September, only to escape again from Lantin prison near Liège in December of that same year.
