A 60-year-old man, suspected of sexually assaulting a minor girl, was arrested by the Korça Police.
The incident took place in Maliq, and the police were called after the parents of the 12-year-old girl reported the incident. Reports indicate that the minor girl was returning home when the 60-year-old man blocked her path.
According to information, it is suspected that he lied to the minor about money and then touched her in intimate places.
It was the parents who reported the case, along with the minor, who, in the presence of a psychologist, explained the circumstances of the incident at the Maliq police station. The Maliq police station immediately arrested the 60-year-old.
According to the testimonies given to the police by the mother and the minor, the girl had gone out to throw out the garbage and as she was returning, her neighbor went up to the second floor and blocked her path.
He touched her private parts and attempted to kiss her, while the girl tried to leave several times.
He gave her some candy and said he would give her money, but the girl managed to get away after kicking him in the leg and immediately went home, where she told her mother about the incident.
They immediately went to the Maliq police station to report the case. Further investigations will shed more light on the serious incident.
