New details have emerged from the gunshot wound that occurred shortly before midnight on May 26 in the Kinostudio area, in Tirana.
According to information from the investigation, the police have identified and announced three people wanted, one as the suspected perpetrator of the injury of 34-year-old Juxhin Humajez and the other two as accomplices.
Sources close to the investigation group indicate that the conflict started over a vehicle worth around 30 thousand euros. It is suspected that the injured 34-year-old had taken the vehicle from the suspected perpetrator, but had not given him the amount of money.
For this reason, the perpetrator went to the bar where the young man was to ask for the money. Initially, there was a verbal argument between them, which later escalated to the use of a firearm.
According to the investigation, the perpetrator shot the 34-year-old twice, wounding him once in the leg.
The injured man is out of danger, and has a criminal record. He was previously arrested for smuggling people, and in 2018 he escaped an assassination attempt.
During questioning, the 34-year-old refused to give statements to investigators, while the police continue to work to capture the perpetrators and fully unravel the incident.
