Athens, bullets fired at cellphone store owner: four Albanians on the run and police pursuit
An episode of gunfire was recorded in the Patision area of Athens, where a gunman entered a mobile phone shop and shot the owner, who is suspected of being of Pakistani origin.
According to Greek media, the perpetrator wounded the businessman in both thighs and then sped away in a gray BMW that was waiting for him outside the store. There were three other people in the vehicle, all of Albanian origin.
Greek police immediately began pursuing the vehicle, and during the escape the car crashed into three to four vehicles on Kifisos Boulevard, in the direction of Lamia. Two of the people in the BMW were arrested by police, while two others managed to escape on foot.

Another person suspected of being involved in the incident was also seen at the scene. Eyewitnesses who were at nearby businesses spoke of ruthless gunmen.

The store owner was transported to the hospital after being injured, and doctors confirmed that his life was out of danger.
The Hellenic Police are examining all possibilities regarding the causes of the attack, while the preliminary investigation continues to determine the exact role of those arrested in the bloody incident.
