From the police baton for the private resort to praying before the altar, the government that beats citizens and asks for God's blessing...

If there is one art that Edi Rama is more skilled at than painting, sculpture or 'folk songs', it is the art of political hypocrisy. This is clearly seen in his latest game: rape the inhabitants to protect the bandit, then go and ask God to protect the state that he himself has handed over to the bandits.

Edi Rama has a rare talent: he manages to be in two morally opposite places within the same day, without blushing. In Shkodra he rapes Catholic residents who defend their lands to hand them over to Mulla Bashkim Ulaj; while in the Vatican he kneels before Our Lady of Good Counsel and prays: "Protect Albania". An Albania, which on the ground is being defended with rubber batons, handcuffs and police uniforms, not by the law, but for the law of the strongest.

In Velipoja and Rrjoll, Rama's state does not appear as a guarantor of private property, but as the bodyguard of a bandit who has received "Strategic Investor" status and who, as always, builds faster than the permit on paper and robs faster than justice.

Residents who have lived there for centuries are treated as invaders, while anyone who comes with falsified property records, government decisions, and political blessing is called a “developer.” The police don’t ask who has the right, but who has the prime minister’s signature. And when residents raise their voices, the state responds with violence, as if they are defending a military base and not a private resort.

But the irony doesn't end there.

In Albania, Catholics are being raped for Mulla Bashkimi; in the Vatican, he

The same prime minister who orders the police to beat up citizens for their land appears in the Vatican as a man of faith, humble, asking Our Lady of Good Counsel for the protection of Albania.

Which Albania?

What is being robbed through government decisions?

The one who is raped by the police?

The one that serves the oligarchs and oppresses the citizens?

Or the Albania that exists only in his speeches and ritual prayers for the cameras?

This is not a matter of religion. Catholics, Muslims or Orthodox have nothing to do with this story. This is a matter of power. And Rama's government has clearly chosen its side: not the citizen, but the bandit oligarch. Not private property, but the market. Not the law, but force. In this reality, prayers in the Vatican are simply decorum, while violence in Shkodra is real politics.

"Protect Albania," Rama says to the good Lady of the Council. But Albania today needs to be protected not by God, but by those who use the state as private property and the police as resort guards.

Because a place is not lost when it lacks divine blessing, but when it lacks human justice. And that, in Rrjoll, in Velipojë and in Shkodra, is completely lacking today./ Pamphlet
