US President Donald Trump has reiterated his stance that he has reached a deal with Iran, despite denials from the media in Tehran.
According to Trump, a "great deal" has been reached with Iran and that it will probably be signed over the weekend. He stressed that the document was in its final stages and finalization was possible in the coming days.
Trump added that the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened immediately after the signing, which will take place in Europe with Vice President JD Vance in attendance. The US president added that he has informed Benjamin Netanyahu and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
On the other hand, Iran has rejected claims by US President Donald Trump that a draft agreement has been reached between the parties to end the conflict.
State media in Tehran have announced that Iran has not yet approved any text for an agreement with the US.
According to an “informed source” in Iran, no text has been approved for the initial memorandum of understanding with the United States. The insider, who is said to be close to the Islamic Republic’s negotiating team, distanced himself from President Trump’s claims, Iran’s Fars news agency reported.
