US President Donald Trump has canceled tonight's planned attacks on Iran with the now-common pretext that an agreement is very close.
In a post on his social network "TruthSocial", Trump wrote that talks with Iran have been set at the highest level and that for this reason he had ordered the cancellation of the attacks.
According to Trump, the agreement has been signed and has been agreed upon by neighboring countries. The US president said that the schedule for signing the agreement will be announced soon.
“Based on the fact that discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran have been brought to the highest level of Iranian leadership and have been approved, I, as President of the United States of America, have canceled the planned strikes and bombings against Iran this evening. The discussions and final points have been approved, both in concept and in great detail, by all parties involved, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others. The Naval Blockade will remain in full force and effect until this Transaction is finalized. The time and place of the signing will be announced shortly ,” Trump wrote.
