The protest against the tourism project in Zvërnec is continuing in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where citizens and activists have held speeches against the government and the planned investment in the protected area of Vlora.
One of the protesters reacted harshly to Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements, accusing him of dividing citizens and ignoring those who did not support him with their votes.
From the protest podium, he said that Albanians are tired of the current government and that the head of government cannot divide citizens according to political beliefs.
" You have tired the Albanians so much that now the only thing you know how to do is destroy us. You said something else today, 'I only address those who voted for me'. Shameless! What do we look like, sheep? We are Albanians ," declared the protester.
His statement was met with applause and cheers from the participants in the rally, who continue to stand in front of the Prime Minister's Office on the fourth day of mobilization against the project in Zvërnec.
During the protest, there were also calls against the government and demands for the cancellation of the investment, which protesters consider harmful to the environment and the public interest.
The rally is continuing as normal, while organizers have warned that opposition to the project will continue in the coming days.
