A strong statement has come from the well-known Albanian actor, Mehdi Malkaj, who, invited to the show "Te Pashoq", has declared that Prime Minister Edi Rama has already been overthrown. According to Malkaj, it no longer matters whether he leaves or stays, as the public protest has not only exploited him with his adolescent behavior, but has also managed to completely delegitimize his government.
The actor, known for his long-standing stance on protests since the Theater cause, emphasizes that for him it does not matter whether the protest has a "head" or a "tail", because there is freedom and culture there. He rejects any attempt to label or divide the popular movement, calling it authentic and unstoppable.
Asked during the interview whether the protest is in danger of dying out due to fatigue, Malkaj was categorical: this will never happen. According to him, even the efforts of the government through patronage have failed to weaken it.
Further, the actor, who presents himself as a regular and persistent protester, says that he is in complete sync with all the people in the square. For him, not only Edi Rama, but also Sali Berisha and the entire political establishment must go.
Speaking about the expectations he had during Rama's first term, Malkaj describes the prime minister as a government that has done nothing good for this country. According to him, Rama has destroyed, lied, stolen and betrayed.
