The participation record was broken on the 11th day of the protest in Tirana, as thousands of citizens filled the "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard from the Ministry of Interior area to near the "Rogner" hotel, in the most massive gathering since the movement began.
Protesters demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, political changes and the removal of the old political class, while the square was filled with banners, national flags and calls against the government.
During the rally, chants such as "Rama go away", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", "New Albania", "Government of crime" and "Edi Rama, traitor, resign as soon as possible" were continuously heard, while participants demanded the removal of the old political class and the establishment of a new governance model.
The protest was also characterized by a large number of creative and ironic banners that dominated the boulevard. Among them, messages such as "Tepsia do kurban", "O Sali o fossil", "New government, radically" and "You haven't settled your score with the students yet" stood out.
Participants stated that despite pressure and criticism, civic mobilization is growing day by day. According to them, the more they try to discourage protests, the more citizens are joining the movement.
During the evening, the atmosphere on the boulevard was accompanied by cheers, applause, and speeches from activists and citizens, who called for the protests to continue until their demands were met.
Organizers have warned that the protests will continue in the coming days, insisting that the movement is gaining more and more civic support across the country.
