Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully hit Russian military targets deep inside Russia last night with their new “Flamingo” missile. He added that the attack caused significant damage to a military plant in Cheboksary.
The president added that the Kuibyshevsky oil refinery in the Samara region, more than 900 kilometers from the front line, was also hit overnight.
"We continue to implement our long-range Ukrainian sanctions against Russian military targets and the oil sector. In particular, last night our FP-5 Flamingo missiles hit a military plant in Cheboksary, which supplies the occupying army with components for drones and missiles. I thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for their precision. I am grateful to the fighters of the special forces, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Ukrainian military intelligence (GUR) ," Zelensky wrote in a message on Telegram.
