On the 11th day of the protest, Albanians have filled the Boulevard in front of the Prime Minister's Office, calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. Today's protest also coincides with the 148th anniversary of the League of Prizren, a fact that was also touched upon by one protester.
During her speech at the rally, the protester stated that today Albania is in the same situation and calls for the unity of all Albanians.
"On June 10, 1878, the nation gathered Albanians in every corner. Today, on the 148th anniversary, we, their sons, are in the same situation. Our homeland is in danger, so we are here, we have united to protect Albania from these invaders. To protect our lands, nature, for our future. Today we will make Albania a nation worthy of living with dignity and pride, a country where our rights are respected," said a protester.
